mine was for confirmation. It was a Catholic thing. LoL. You would get to pick a saint from the Bible as your name and the one and only reason I picked Luke was for Luke Skywalker from Star Wars. And I would only answer to Luke if my parents or anybody was talking to me. LoL. And my brother was an alter boy and that is what they wore.

In my country we also have this catholic comfirmation but without the robes. I think that is cooler with the robes, we just use tie and shirt.
